Q: Our system is 20 years old. The dog has chewed two thermostat heads!! Will the v117 head be a replacement. The only markings are 9947 just below a number 24 raised on plastic neck. Looks same as photo but want to ensure its a direct replacement.
A: If it looks the same, then it will be suitable.
Q: We have a heating system over 20 years old - it has Honeywell Thermostatic valves - we need to replace the top of one - would your new head fit the old valve?
A: Please email a photo of your existing TRVs to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can identify them.
I have a westherm four head, can I assume the vt117 replacement trv head
will fit to the existing body
A: I'm afraid not.
Q: Hi, are these wax or liquid sensor, and is there a difference vt117e and vt117d?
A: They have liquid sensors. The VT117E is an angled valve, the VT117D is a straight valve. This head will fit either.
Q: Can you replace a head on a Honeywell trv without draining system
