Q: We have thermostatic valves on all the radiators but no central thermostat. Would there be any benefit or advantage in getting a Salus wireless thermostat?

A: Yes as your system keeps running when all the valves are closed - wasting gas. The RT500-RF when placed in the coolest room will switch off the system when the house is up to temperature thus saving gas and wear-and-tear on your boiler.
Q: Hi there, are these model is compatibile with boiler ideal logic + combi ?

A: Yes they are.
Q: My boiler stopped responding to the thermostat, I have tried changing the rf jumpers, it worked once then not again, no matter what I do with them the heating turns on and stays on.... Should I buy a new one it is around 6 years old? Thanks

A: This could be a motorised valve problem. You will need to get an electrician to test the output of the receiver.
Q: Something in our (or a neighbour's?) house seems to be interfering with the signal from our Salus thermostat. Quite often the receiver receives what it thinks is a signal to start the boiler when none is sent, quite often the boiler doesn't turn of when asked to do so. If I change the jumber settings on the thermostat, do I have to make corresponding changhe on the receiver? If not, then surely the receiver will continue to act on the spurious signals it appears to have been receiving. Regards, Chris

A: Yes, after changing the channel on the thermostat you will need to change it on the receiver as well.
Q: Can I install two RT500-RF wireless Programmable Room thermostats with their corresponding recievers to one Combination boiler and achieve independent temperature and time control for two zones. Example upstairs and downstairs.

A: You will need motorised zone valves as well to separate the flow into downstairs and upstairs
