Q: Hello, is it possible to change the gland seal on a RT313 without having to drain the central heating or is replacement the only answer to a small leak from the pin?. If so, do you sell these?.
A: Yes you can remove the gland without draining using the pre-setting key 13B33. There will be some seepage, so put a towel down.
However new glands do cost more than the TRV, so you are better off with a new TRV and having a spare head.
Q: Hi, is the nut holding the TRV a standard fitting? We have BOSS 44 EN215 fitted throughout the building which I understand are no longer manufactured. If it is standard thinking of buying 10 of the Drayton RT313
A: Unfortunately not. If you can email us a photo we will confirm what is suitable.
