I have a Salus RT310Rf - the batteries are only lasting a few days. The thermostat is in the living room and the hub is upstairs beside the boiler and other controls. When we installed the Salus first we got 2 months out of the batteries. Could the thermostat be malfuctioing? Answers1

Yes it sounds like it is transmitting constantly, running down the batteries.

Unfortunately the receiver is mains powered, not battery powered like the RT310. So a mains power connection will need to be added.

Can I connect the receiver to the existing wiring that is on my mechanical manual stat it has 3 wires +earth. Can it be connected volt free as well as 240v.

Unfortunately not. It requires a permanent live which your wired stat will not have.

It can be connected volt free or 230v.

Hello. I would like to instal a Salus RT310RF, my boiler is controlled with a Drayton LP111, do I connect the receiver switching contact pair of wires to the boiler or can they be connected to the controller and would they be wired in series or parralel. Thanks Answers1

Hi. Remove the call wire from the LP111 and connect it to the NO terminal on the Salus receiver. Link call on the LP111 to common on the Salus receiver. Connect live and neutral as normal.

Yes they are. Each thermostat has a unique code, the associated receiver will only respond to that code.

Salus do not offer a two channel receiver, so you would need to install two one channel packs.

Yes it will. If you have a timer on the boiler, it is just 4 wires between boiler and receiver. If you have an external timer, then it is a bit more complicated.
