Q: hi.how do i set the unit up so that between for example 06.30 and 08.00 the boiler comes on and reaches its set temp(19 degrees) then once it drops down to the other set temp (14 degrees)it goes off but only between the two set times.outside of the set times i dont want the boiler to come on at all many thanks mark

A: It will always hold one of the temperatures, this is so your property is not damaged by frost. Your best setting the moon temperature very low (e.g. 5C) so that it is unlikely to get that low before the A3 brings it back up to the sun temperature.
Q: Why does the red light keep flashing & the boiler will only come on when I press the overide but the remote triangle is displaying

A: It sounds like you will need to re-sync the thermostat and receiver so they talk to each other again.
Q: Hi Have set on/off times as 00:00 - 11:59, and 12:00 - 11:58. Sun temp is 20 and moon temp is 5. I'm assuming that the energy saving temperature comes into play at a certain time of day. Is that correct?

A: The energy saving temperature is the moon temperature. It runs between A2 and A3 as well as between A4 and A1.
Q: When I have set the boiler to come on the timer, what do I set then is it auto.

A: Yes, you choose auto to run the program.
Q: Please can you advise what has primacy the on/off time settings or the sun/moon temperature settings? I would like to ensure the boiler is used to best effect.

A: It really depends how long your moon periods are. If they are fairly long then it is important to have a low moon temperature so the boiler fires less during these periods.
