Q: Hello, how do you set the water timer? Weve just moved in to a new flat and arent used to this system

A: It is set by the installer to be economy 7 hours. Changing it requires opening the unit, so is best done by a professional.
Q: I don't have Economy 7 installed but will this work in a normal situation. Is it possible for the householder to change the settings for daytime useage ? Thanks

A: No. You will need the electronic version 09A02.
Q: I set the time and after 2 days its losses time by upto 2 hours

A: It sounds like it needs to be replaced.
Q: Hi, Will this timer work even if there is no Economy 7 specific wiring to the cupboard where the cylinder is located. My flat has economy 7 tariff, but only has the normal wiring circuit. I assume the boost button works with the normal/day rate wiring and the timer on the night rate wiring, can I use the same (day rate) wiring for both? Thank you

A: It is designed to work of a single incoming supply, so will be suitable for you.
Q: I need the water to be on all the time. How do I do that?

A: That is not possible with this model.
Q: How do I pre-set time in this device?

A: The Economy 7 hours are set internally when the unit is installed. The current time can be set by rotating the dial clockwise.
Q: Where can I get instructions for this ? Thanks

A: See the downloads tab
Q: Water will not come on but will work on boost

A: I would guess you have two immersion heaters on your cylinder. One at the top for boost and a bottom one for timed. If you are competent to do so, check if power is being sent to the bottom immersion heater when it is timed to be on (E7 hours). If it is, then it is a problem with the thermostat or heater. If not, then the timer is the likely problem.
