Q: will this Salus AC3 actuator replace the actuator on my customers Salus MV322 which has a bolt retaining the actuator. thank you
A: Yes it will
Q: I have received the MV322 actuator today - excellent service.
Can you please send the circuit diagram for the actuator, and clarify the purpose of the orange (HW Call} and grey (HW Sat) control wires.
The actuator shaft moves approximately 45 degs when power is applied to the blue and white wires (Neutral and HTG Call).
Many thanks.
A: Blue - Neutral
White - Heating On
Grey - Hot Water Off
Orange - Output to pump & boiler
Yellow/Green - Earth
So both the white and grey must have 230v for it to move to the heating only position. White only will put it in mid-position.
Q: Can you please tell me how your actuator fits on to the 3 port valve.
Does it clip in place, or is it held in position by screws?
My original valve was a Salus MV322 and was about 12 years old. The original actuator can be detached from my valve by pressing a release button on the actuator.
Many thnks.
A: It does clip in place. Exactly the same as the MV322.
Q: Is this a direct replacement (valve fitting, clip on connect, etc) to Horstmann F322M actuator?
A: Yes it is.
Q: Will this directly replace a Horstmann F322M Actuator, without the need to change the valve body.. i.e. just clips onto existing valve using same clip mechanism as the F322M?
A: Yes it will.
Q: My Salus MV222 has stopped working, can you confirm this replacement actuator has the push button option to release it from the main valve. My valve was fitted 4 years ago when you push the button it releases the actuator leaving the brass valve on show with 2 items on view the head retainer lug and the valve head
A: No, I'm afraid this is not suitable for the MV222. You need the AC2 which is unfortunately obsolete.
Q: would this actuator be compatible with the horstmann z322 valve?
A: No.
