Will this stat replace a Grasslin T85 cylinder stat linked to a Y plan heating system?
Yes it will.

I have a thermostat clamped on to my hot water tank. It looks exactly like the HTS3 but mine is a NTS3 made by Drayton. It is about 20 years old and has never been replaced. So is the HTS3 a suitable replacement? if so I will buy it Thanks
Hi. There is no NTS3. I would suspect that the H has just got a bit smudged to make it look like a N.
Due to restricted ceiling height I can't replace the 18" cylinder thermostat and was wondering if the HTS3 would do the job. If so is there a wiring diagram? Thanks in advance
I'm afraid it is not suitable for immersion heaters.
is this a suitable replacement for a potterton ptt100
Yes it is.
Will this directly replace a ACL HTS2 thermostat?
Yes, but it is not pre-wired like the HTS2.
Will this thermostat fit the temp sensor pocket on a Worcester unvented cylinder? If not do you have one that is suitable? Thanks
No, this is a surface mounted type. You will need an Immersion type like HCO code 15B00 or 06B08.
how can I check if existing drayton HTS3 cylinder valve is working
Check if there is power to the C terminal. Then check if power is being switched between the 2 and 1 terminal as you turn the thermostat up and down. Then check the switching is occurring at the correct temperature.
