The T3 Series of programmable thermostats provide sophisticated automatic control of domestic heating systems. They have been developed to provide intuitive heating time and temperature control with a wealth of features that will make the T3 the first choice in a wide variety of installations, including social housing, new construction and mass installation situations.

The thermostats in the T3 range are compatible with a wide range of boilers and systems including 24–230V on/off such as gas & oil boilers, combi-boilers and heat pumps. OpenTherm control is available. T3 thermostats cannot control electric heating.

For specifiers, installers and users, the T3 series offers additional functionality that ensures that users of the controls can be restricted from using the controls incorrectly

The thermostat can be locked to prevent unnecessary interactions and upper and lower set point limits ensure that extremes of temperatures cannot be set.

The T3 has been designed with an intuitive user interface, making it easy to programme and use. In use and target setpoints are easily visible, and interaction with the thermostat is via a small number of soft touch buttons.

Other features of benefit to property owners are Automatic Summer & Winter time change, battery low indicators, service timers, fail safe mode and one model covering 5/2 and 7day programming with 4 time periods a day.

The T3 provides a whole host of energy efficiency measures. A full suite of Optimisation features (Optimum start, Stop and Delayed Start) plus adaptive ‘fuzzy logic’ protocols provide full control of the boiler.

Installers benefit from an installation process that pairs an easy to install receiver box with a thermostat that is easy to set up and hand over to the end user. This shortens installation time.

The receiver box has fully labelled terminals & an earth park. It can easily be wired from behind or below (with strain relief provided). The front casing has a control button with LED lights that provide fault feedback and can be used to fire the boiler for easy testing

The installation sequence is intuitive and provides the installer with pre-programmed schedules; cycle rate option for different boiler types, there is a robust RF wireless signal with a RF signal check built into the T3 wireless version. All models have a maintenance alert.

For users, the T3 is the ideal choice for homes that require high levels of automatic control that provide significant energy efficiency for a wide range of boilers and systems.

Users can temporarily override the temperature set point and the current date and time are displayed on the screen

The T3 has been designed from top to bottom to satisfy the needs of installers; specifiers; property owners and end users.

Hi could you please tell me ,Can this be connected to a baxi combi 105 HE boiler?
Hi.  Yes it can.

hi, i have just gotten this but cannot find the '+1hr' anywhere?! i have clicked the + button repeatedly but no 1hr symbol appears.
It is the right hand side button under the screen.

Hi, I have a Honeywell CM921 thermostat that keeps loosing its digital display, can I replace this unit with the Honeywell T3R thermostat and receiver No 21E11 ?
Regards Ron
Hi.  Yes you can.
hi, my honeywell CM927 has stopped working, they have discontinued this model and its direct replacement is the T4R.

Can the T3R be used instead to replace the CM927, as i dont need the full quota of programmable controls on the T4R.
Hi.  Yes it can.

Is this 864Mhz or 434?
It is 868Mhz.
When the thermostat is calling for heat and the boiler is heating, sometimes the receiver clicks off and the boiler stops. About 1 minute later the receiver clicks on again. All the time the thermostat shows it is calling for heat. What's going on ?
This is the TPI software lowering the temperature of the radiators to stop over-shooting of the temperature.
Can I pair more than one T3r programmer with a single WiFi receiver. For instance one programmer in a hallway and a second in, say, a bedroom both paired to a single receiver controlling the boiler? Thank you, R. Bullock
I'm afraid not.
Hi, I am looking to replace my existing under floor heating wireless programmer/thermostat, Honeywell CM927. Would this fit the bill or do I need the T4?
Hi. This would be fine.
Hi can you tell me what the temperature differential is please.
Hi It cycles the boiler as it reaches the set point, and it will regularly cycle to boiler to maintain the temperature via a Self-learning TPI Fuzzy Logic algorithm (parameters are adjustable). So it doesn't use traditional switching with a differential.
Hi, I got up this morning and my tr3 thermostat is flashing 20 with the word YEAR above it? What's happening?
It sounds like it has reset. Just follow the setup instructions in the instructions.
Hi what is the wireless range I think the t4r is 30m thanks pete
Hi It is the same - 30m.
Hi, is the T3R compatible with a Biasi Reva HE? Thanks Matt.
Hi. Yes it is.
Hi. How do I advance the heating for 1 hour? So it is 2pm but the heating is not programmed to come on until 4 but I want heating now for an hour, how do I achieve this. I have read the page in the user guide ‘3 Device Modes’ ‘+1hr Timed override’ and looked at the diagrams but neither me or my partner can get it to switch on the heating. Can you explain in any other way.
Hi. Just press the + repeatedly button to get the temperature you desire, then press the +1h button to make it a 1 hour timed boost.
How do I find the 6SO parameter menu to change my tr3 thermostat to a 7 day controller?
To enter the Installer menu hold the far left button and then + until the display changes (approx. after 3 secs). You can then use the far right buttons to scroll through the perimeters to 6SO and the use + and - to change it to option 1.
Hi, I've just had the TR3 controller installed but cannot figure out how to make it 7 day controller instead of 5-2. The instructions on-line do not seem to explain this. Please help. Many thanks Rob
It is 6SO in the parameters menu.
I want the rd3 to replace a current Honeywell st9100c control which has a wall mounted thermostat next to it.what happens to that control with the tr3 in place? Does it become disconected when you replace the wall mounted thermostat with the rd3 receiver? Cheers Neil
Yes, you will need to remove it as well.
