Q: Will this replace ELE-14-IN-800-DJV?
A: Yes it will.
Q: Is this a 1.75" BSP fitting
Is this a TSR unit
Is it correct for a Megaflo Eco Plus 500 litre Unvented Indirect Cylinder
A: Yes it is 1.75" BSP thread
It has a TSE thermostat
There are different versions of the Megaflo Eco Plus 500 which take different immersions. Please email us a photo of the existing immersion heater and cylinder label.
Q: I need replacement immersion heater 2,6-3KW for ELE-14-IN-800-FAB length 14" it is that one?
A: Yes it is.
Q: Is this a modified or revised part number for Cotherm UK
As this number does not list.
A: Unfortunately the ELE-14-IN-800-210TST cannot be replaced with this one. Please email email@example.com and we will give you a price for the ELE-14-IN-800-210TST.
Q: What is the max. working design pressure for this immersion heater?
A: I'm afraid I have no data for that. Maximum pressure is usually defined by the cylinder manufacturer.
Q: I need to replace a Coltherm ELE14IN800UNVTSR 14 inch. Is this one a replacement? Thanks.
A: Yes it is.
Q: I need a replacement immersion heater element, 14" but with a thread size approx 53mm. Local suppliers only have elements with a bigger thread size. Does your ELE 14 IN 800 UNV have a thread size of about 53mm? If so, you have saved me a major search. Please let me know a.s.a.p. so I can order it.
A: The male thread is approx. 53mm.
Q: I have a Advanced Appliances HPL255 Heat Pump hot water cylinder which is fitted with a ELE-14-IN-800-FAB immersion with a Cotherm TSR thermostat.
The thermostat has failed after only 5 years of light use and I am trying to source a replacement. No one stocks the exact part number but ELE-14-IN-800-UNV is readily available. Is this a suitable replacement?
Also the existing thermostat has a blue control, the replacements seem to have red. What is the difference?
A: Yes it is a direct replacement.
The thermostats have been upgraded with a better safety thermostat.
Q: hi ter, i have a dimplex immersion heater and the top element has cotherm model ELE-14-800-FAB
on it, do you think this part will be ok to use ? thanks tim
A: Yes it will.
Q: can you supply Cotherm ELE IN 800 200 with headsize 2.25" ? Thanks
A: Please let us know the length and we will enquire for you.
Q: i have two controls tp and bottom both go to 0 to 5 can you tell me what is what? should both be on? i seem to be using a lot of electricity.
A: In normal situations, they should be kept on 4 or 5, as this relates to around 66C. The top heater is the boost heater for when you want a small amount of hot water. The bottom heater heats the whole tank, this is usually used during cheaper economy 7 hours.
Q: Can you tell me if the outside diameter of the threads of this element. Im looking to purchase a cotherm (uk) immersion heater that has a model number of ELE-14-IN-800HT
A: It is 1 3/4 BSP which has a major diameter of just over 53mm and a minor diameter of just over 50mm
Q: HAVE YOU GOT A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT IMMERSION HEATER FOR A JOULE CYCLONE TWIN 250L CYLINDER. SERIAL NUMBER 250TW54.140600183
THE IMMERSION DETAILS ON THE CYLINDER IS 3KW / 240V, 1 3/4 14 LONG
LOOKING A TITANIUM IMMERSION IT MAY BE A DOUBLE POLE NOT SURE
I HAVE THE SOLAR PANELS HEATING THE WATER THROUGH A IBOOST SWITCH
A: We can order in a Titanium alternative. It would cost £99+VAT. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to order.
Q: I have a sealed system and the cut out (safety) on the main heater element (bottom heater) keeps tripping and has to be reset. Is this an electrical problem or a heat problem. If neither then do I need to replace the whole unit
A: It can be tripped by the boiler heating the water above the cut out temperature. Try lowering the temperature on the cylinder for the boiler.
Q: I have a Cotherm ELE-14-IN-800 immersion heater and need to increase the temperature of the water in the cylinder to at least 80 deg c, the current thermostat gets to the water up to about 55 deg c. Is there a replacement thermostat you can supply which will enable me to do this or will i have to change the whole immersion heater?
The reason I need the water so hot is that I have a heat recovery system which uses the hot water from the cylinder to boost the recovered heat air to have a temperature boost in colder weather.
A: Unfortunately no domestic one will go that high due to the safety regulations. You will need a commercial one, which is outside of our range.
Q: How does one adjust the temperature?
A: Inside the unit the is a thermostat with a dial on it. Please switch off the electric before opening it. There is not normally a need to alter it as you should keep the temperature above 55C to avoid bacteria growth and below 65C to avoid burns.
Q: what is the head size for this element?2.25"?
A: it is 1 3/4" BSP
Q: Is this part compatible and usable in a RM Cylinder Stelflow Water Tank heater system?
A: Yes it is.
