I have a couple of hydronic kitchen plinth heaters that I want to control the water flow to. A normal TRV is pointless as the temperature under the plinth is irrelevant. can I use one of these on a normal radiator valve body, to stop/start flow of water to the plinth heater?

It will fit to a TRV body, but not a lockshield/wheelhead valve.

See HCO code 06E03 for a suitable valve.
