Will this fit in a standard 1-gang backbox with a blanking plate covering it? I have an electric UFH system drawing around 17A connected directly to the thermostat. I plan to replace the fused spur with a 20A double-pole switch and install a new back box next to the thermostat to have this. Answers1

It will fit in a 35mm (or larger) backbox.

My hot water cylinder has 2 x 3kw immersion heaters; one sited near the top which is currently connected to power and the other sited near the bottom which is currently not connected.
When the top one reaches set temperature its thermostat switches power off. I would like to switch the power to the bottom immersion heater until its thermostat switches power off. Would this relay enable this and how would it be wired up ? Answers1

If the thermostat is plugged into the immersion, then it would not be possible. I'm not sure the advantage of this system over just wiring up the bottom immersion instead of the top. Or just fitting an immersion heater controller such as 09A02.

My Joule Thermal Store circuit diagram is calling for a 240v 20A NC relay with two terminals connected to the neutral circuit and the NO side of the Store High Limit Stat and the other side connected between the pump live off the boiler and the NC terminal of the Thermal Store Temperature Stat. Would this relay be suitable? If not could you suggest an alternative because such relays seem to be as rare as hens teeth online. Many thanks Answers1

I recently added a wet underfloor heating zone to my existing S plan heating system. The underfloor zone has a shunt pump, which unfortunately switches on with the main pump, even if the underfloor zone is not calling for heat. This is due to the switched live, that both pumps share. Would this relay allow me to isolate whilst energised, until underfloor programer/stat calls for heat and switches live? Answers1

Hi, I have a S plan CH system with an added UFH system, but when I run the UFH the CH pump also runs, could I use this relay to stop the pump running when only using the UFH is running and using the signal from the CH zone valve to switch the pump on when using the CH. Hi I want to use a mains powered relay to control the negative line to a 12v spdt relay. What I am trying to do is isolate my 12v caravan battery from the caravan charger when I am connected to mains power. I am proposing to run the positive to the battery through terminal 30 and 87 of the 12v relay. I then take the negative from the 12v relay to the com terminal of this relay and then out via the NC terminal back to earth I have a circuit diagram.but can't add to this.
